Peanut butter and other lovers

ETA: Did y’all see how I typoed the title? I’m still chuckling. I swear I’m not bitter about my peanut butter. I may be bitter about other things, but I promise you, my love for peanut butter endures. πŸ˜‰

The other day I heard β€˜My Favorite Things’ from the Sound of Music, and now it’s stuck in my head. All day, every day it’s all about the raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Don’t get me wrong. I was raised on the Rodgers & Hammerstein songbook, and TSoM is a particular favorite. Georg von Trapp can blow his whistle at me anytime. Mm hmm.

Drifted off there for a second.

I blame thoughts of bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.

Anyhow, it got me thinking about what favorite things I would sing about if I were to raise my voice in song. (Don’t worry, I won’t. It’s an unwritten law. Crimes against humanity or some such claptrap.)

So, I thought I’d list a few of my favorite things and you could list some of yours. That way, we can compare our favorites and possibly apply the rules of friendship I talked about back in the spring (link to post).
