I hope you can see this picture. It’s old and the pages are a little worn–just like me. Twenty-seven years ago today I married the love of my life. This morning, he kissed me awake. If you wonder where I get the inspiration for my love stories, this is it–a lifetime of being happy, cherished, and respected.
We’ve had our bad days. Who hasn’t? We’ve been to far too many funerals lately and lost two babies before we got to hold them. But honestly, I fell more in love with him during tough times. It’s then that we showed each other how strong we really are and how deep out hearts can be. We are better together and always have been.
As we head into the holiday season, I wish you joy. I wish you peace. But mostly, I wish you great, deep love.
And morning kisses.
