Today I’m going to do something I don’t usually do: Tweet my own horn.
If you’re like me, your mind just went into the gutter… LOL If you’re not like me, let’s just move on.
I don’t do a lot of promotion and for this second book in the Triune Stones series, I’ve done even less than usual. I am hard at work editing book three and writing book four.
So I thought it might be nice to tell you about it here.
In Journey of Dominion Sara grows into her role as Ilythra, the Wanderer of legend. She continues on her quest to find the Siobani people and reunite the pendants. If Journey of Awakening was a legend’s birth, then Journey of Dominion is a legend’s fall.
In this book we get a much closer look at the “red man” who inhabited Sara’s dreams in the first book.
In this book, I also get to play with scent and how scent affects moods. I did a lot of research on various fragrances and can go on and on about it, but I’ll spare you all that. If you want to read a little, promise it’s not too boring, click here.
Journey of Dominion’s official blurb:
Sara, now known as Ilythra, the Wanderer of legend, continues on her quest to find the Siobani and understand the magic stone around her neck,
Following, Teann, Ilythra decides to help a trader in search of his brother. The hunt takes her into a land in the grip of an alchemical conspiracy. Lord Bredych, who has already schemed to control Ilythra’s stone once, weaves a web of scent, magic, and manipulation to bring her to him. With Bredych’s fragrance intoxicating her and the song of his stone Crioch in her ears, Ilythra begins to forget her quest.
The trader, home to bury his brother, catches wind of Ilythra’s danger and rushes to her aid. With Ilythra’s mind muddled and the forces of an entire nation bent on controlling her stone, it will take an unthinkable act of sacrifice for her to continue her search for the Siobani.
What is your favorite scent and why?
