Hi everyone!
I have never really had to write about myself. I always find myself writing about my characters, and sometimes they can be somewhat difficult to handle-especially when they take control LOL!
I always loved to read. As a child, I devoured R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series. Then, when I turned thirteen, I found one of my mom’s historical romance novels laying around the house, and I could NOT put it down after I got started reading it. From then on, I began to have my own collection of Native American historicals. I also discovered that I had Indian blood on my mom and dad’s side, and I took much interest in that. I wrote my first novel when I was sixteen, but it had TONS of mistakes-I had no clue what I was doing. I didn’t know a thing about writing a real novel.
I finished my second historical, Oneida Obsession, and I had it published when I was at the young age of twenty-one. Then I began to write my third historical, which is put to the side for now. After I joined the RWA and NOLA STARs (my local writer’s chapter), I began to take a deep interest in paranormal romance. I met two editors who want my full manuscript of the paranormal I am currently writing. So, for now, I am working very hard on my first one of those and love it!
