HAPPY LABOR DAY
I don’t know about you ladies, but I find it hard to believe that today is 2014 Labor Day. Around here, there is always a huge fireworks display, lots of camping, picnics, the lakes crammed pack with boats and jet skies. What’s happening around your house? Party with friends? Dinner out? Fireworks?
September will also be bringing some changes in my life.
So far, the reviews have been good so fingers crossed for sales. This is book 4. Somewhere I read (I think it was a 2014 RWA workshop) that it takes 5 or 6 books before an author gets that “bump” in sale. And then it’s book 10 before you see that bump again. Anyone else read this piece?
I’m still on a walker after my knee replace. I should move off the walker to a cane this month. WOOT. I am more than ready…mentally. Not sure my leg is there yet.
The Voice and The Blacklist come back this month! Sept. 22. I can’t wait. How about you? What fall shows are you looking forward to?
I’ve been a Survivor fan for years, but I’m not crazy about their plan for this year…blood v. something. I forget.
And today and tomorrow will be my last posts here at ENALR. And this makes me very very sad. I’ve been here for years and I’ve enjoyed it so much. I look at our current group and bloggers and realize how many of these ladies I recruited to blog with us! I’ll miss everyone but the demands on my time have become so great that I feel I’m being pulled in all directions. I’ll still be around…sometimes here but mostly on Facebook and my own personal blog. I hope to see some of you there!
So what are your plans to celebrate Labor Day?
