We dusted off our country boots and headed up to the big smoke of Melbourne, the capital city of my state. That is Melbourne, Australia, not Melbourne, Florida 😉
Boy Wonder, at 17, LOVES musicals. Seriously. We have the scores and soundtracks to a lot and I think his iPod is full of them. He inherited the love from my father …I grew up to the tunes of Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Salad Days …you get the idea! This love of musicals is an expensive habit and we are lucky that there are very professional amateur companies that put on affordable productions but now and then we grab sale seats and boy did we luck out this time! Fourth row centre in the stalls. We’ve been singing the Cole Porter songs every since.
Do you enjoy a musical? Ever been to see on on Broadway? (I saw 42nd Street there years ago.) Do you sing in the shower? Been involved in an amateur production? (I was in The Mikado at school) Got a muscial on your MP3 player? Fill me in so I can sing along with you 🙂
I have two books up for pre-order and both are out in early July!
On July 1st, Unlocking Her Surgeon’s Heart, a Harelquin medical romance is out. If you love Call The Midwife, I’m sure you’ll enjoy Lilia’s story as the midwife in a small rural town. The last thing she needs is being saddled with a city surgeon.
On July 7, Truly Madly Montana, book 2 in my Medicine River series is released 🙂 RT Magazine has given it 4* and said,”Lowe’s storytelling infuses contemporary romance with delightful banter. Will and Millie are an adorable pair with infectious chemistry. Lowe’s knack for creating characters who are genuine, everyday people who readers can relate to is the strenght of this delightfully modern tale.”
