Reading, for me, started as something I had to do in order to make the grade in school. I don’t remember when or how it changed for me, but now it’s a way for me to escape.
While I used to dream about having a library in my home with shelves that reached the ceiling, and a rolling ladder to reach the top, I now have a library on my eReader. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the smell of a book and the feel of one in my hands, but I just don’t have room for a library.
A few of my favorite authors include Julie Carobini, Janet Evanovich, John Grisham, James Patterson, Sara Evans, Rachel Hauck, and the list could keep going on and on.
When asked which genre I am drawn to, I have to say just about all of them. My list of genres that I’m not drawn to seems to be shorter. I don’t read exotic romance, horror, or science fiction. I do read a lot of fiction, chick-lit (women’s fiction), christian fiction, memoirs, inspirational, and murder mystery/suspense.
When I’m not reading, I’m a wife, bonus-mom to two, and grandma to four. Another Chance Ranch is my personal blog; there you can see my love for photography, cooking, and follow my fight with breast cancer.

Julie,
I know you from Twitter, but how in the world did you hook up with this bunch of wild romance writing women?
Pretty cool gals, aren’t they?
Nice seeing you here!
