Harley Afternoon Delight by Molly Diamond
* I received a copy of this book from Breathless Press in exchange for an honest review*
Sherman’s next-door-neighbor, Carla, is driving him insane, and he wants her as his woman. Carla is beautiful, voluptuous, and her Italian heritage makes her twice as desirable. He’s made every excuse he can to get close to her, but one day, as she’s mowing grass, two guys in a pickup stop by. They ask for directions and hint at trouble. Sherman intercedes, but when Carla makes her appreciation obvious, is it because she only wants to thank him and is drawn to his kick-ass Harley Davidson—or is Carla really smitten with Sherman?
Harley Afternoon Delight is a short story about an afternoon of fun, sex and a Harley. Sherman has been in love with his neighbor for awhile. She likes to mow the grass in her bikini and it is driving him insane. He is determined to make her his.
Carla is approached by a couple of guys that are trouble; Sherman comes to her aide and invites her over for a beer. She has other ideas on how to repay him for his help and they involve his Harley.
This story is a very quick, HOT read that is about an afternoon of letting go and having fun. The character development is minimal based on the length of the story but we learn that Carla can be aggressive and go after what she wants. We also know that they have been neighbors for awhile and hope this encounter will lead to the relationship they both seem to want.
I enjoyed this short story and would love to see more of Sherman and Carla. I give Harley Afternoon Delight 3 ½ Flaming Hearts.![]()
