For the Writers with us…

I don’t see this often, so I thought I’d link to it. Course, I don’t often research non-fiction queries! Anyway, BookEnds posted an example of a nonfiction query from a client on their blog!

Wordcounts at Dorchester and why you shouldn’t query a 2,000 page book! Wordcount is a shrinking, folks! Make EVERY WORD COUNT!

Miss Snark’s First Victim Submission Guidelines for her upcoming Secret Agent contest! This is a GREEEAAAAAT!!!! (in the words of Tony the Tiger) place to get your work right in front of an Agent and even get it critted by an agent!

For the Readers…

Our March Must Have Review of Kimberly Frost’s Would-Be Witch is up!

DA BWAHA Tournet has STARTED! Don’t know what DA BWAHA is? Best place to find out is to click the link to Dear Author! Or this one at SmartBitches! But here’s the basics copied/pasted from SmartBitches:

For newcomers, this is a tournament of books that mimics the March Madness tournament of basketball.  We’ve picked a slate of 64 books in 8 different categories to compete against each other through the next few weeks.  We welcome all participants regardless of whether you are an author, reader, reviewer or someone who doesn’t even have an interest in romance books.  We encourage authors who have books in the tournament to fill out a bracket and pick yourself to win.

Little Romance Times is a weekly Sunday Edition. Feel free to add news of your events happening this week (weeks run Sunday-Saturday) in the comment section. Are you guest blogging somewhere? Do you have a guest coming to you? What about a new release? Writer’s Conference?
